Fitment and factory feature access
The covers are planned around normal seat function, with openings or construction allowances for seat belts, seat adjustment areas, and ISOFIX/LATCH access where applicable. Airbag-compatible specialist stitching is used for seats with side airbags, helping the covers remain suitable for vehicles equipped with factory seat-mounted airbag systems.
For Equinox trims with heated or ventilated seats, the covers are intended to work with those features where factory equipped. As with any added seat layer, heat or cooling transfer may feel slightly different compared with uncovered upholstery.

Care guidance
- Artificial Nappa Leather: Wipe with a soft damp cloth for regular cleaning. Use mild soap only when needed and avoid harsh solvents.
- Cowhide Fiber + Microfiber: Clean dust and surface marks gently with a damp microfiber cloth. Let the material dry naturally before heavy use.
- Italian Cowhide Leather: Use a leather-safe cleaner and conditioner occasionally to help maintain the natural finish. Keep away from abrasive brushes and strong chemical cleaners.
Installation
The seat covers install over the original Chevrolet upholstery, so there is no need to cut the factory trim or remove the original seat covering. Most owners should allow around 2 hours for a careful DIY installation using our installation page as a guide.
