Leather Seat Covers for BYD Tang DM-i
This is a full leather seat cover set for compatible BYD Tang DM-i interiors. The set includes front seat covers, rear seat covers and matching headrest covers. Because Tang DM-i seating layouts can vary by year, market, trim level and row configuration, please provide your vehicle year and clear photos of the front and rear seats when ordering.

Fitment and Seat Functions
The covers install over the original upholstery and are prepared around the confirmed Tang DM-i seat layout. Seat belt openings are kept accessible, and ISOFIX access is included where the vehicle seating design uses ISOFIX anchor points. Side airbag areas use specialist stitching intended to support proper airbag deployment.
Factory seat heating and ventilation are supported where applicable. As with any additional upholstery layer, heat or airflow may feel slightly softer than through the original seat surface alone, but the seat functions remain usable when the covers are installed correctly.
Material Choices
You can choose from three leather material levels depending on your budget, preferred feel and expected use:
- Artificial Nappa Leather: the best-value option, with a smooth leather-look surface and easy-care synthetic finish. It is a practical choice for daily driving and family use.
- Cowhide Fiber + Microfiber: a stronger mid-tier option with improved structure, breathability and durability compared with the entry material. It suits drivers who want a firmer, more substantial feel.
- Italian Cowhide Leather: the top-end genuine cowhide option, offering the most natural finish and the highest durability in the range.

Installation
Installation is completed over the factory upholstery. You do not need to cut the original trim or remove the original seat covers. Most DIY installations take around 2 hours when following the Matrévol installation page, although timing can vary depending on seat layout and experience.
If you prefer not to install the set yourself, we recommend using a local automotive upholstery or car accessory installer. Contact us if you would like guidance on what to ask an installer before booking.
Care and Cleaning
- Artificial Nappa Leather: wipe regularly with a soft damp cloth. For marks, use a mild interior cleaner and avoid harsh solvents.
- Cowhide Fiber + Microfiber: clean with a lightly damp microfiber cloth and dry the surface after cleaning. A gentle leather-safe cleaner can be used when needed.
- Italian Cowhide Leather: keep it clean with a soft cloth and use a suitable leather cleaner and conditioner occasionally to help maintain the natural surface.
For all materials, clean spills promptly, avoid sharp objects, and keep strong chemical cleaners away from the seat surface.

- Resilient cowhide resists scuffs and stretching for long-term durability and a premium finish.
- Care: wipe and condition regularly; use leather softener if dry and a leather-safe lubricant sparingly on high-wear seams.
